WHO ARE WE?
Roxo Agency is a unique resource: a full-service public relations and advertising agency run by students. We’re located in the Department of Strategic Communication within the Bob Schieffer College of Communication at Texas Christian University.
Since 2011, Roxo has served more than 100 businesses and organizations, winning awards for our creative work and innovative strategies. Some of our work is done to benefit nonprofit and community organizations, such as The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on depression research and suicide prevention. The culture and environment of Roxo are what sets it apart — we call it “creativity for good.”
More than 400 students have been part of Roxo — we call them “Roxstars.” They gain hands-on communication experience that goes far beyond the classroom. They produce amazing work to help our clients reach a wide variety of communication goals, from social media to PR; from photography/videography to marketing materials. We do it all – with a flare of freshness and an energy that’s uniquely Roxo.
Whether you’re a student interested in applying to Roxo, or a potential client interested in what we can do to serve you, we cordially invite you to contact us.
(And, in case you’re wondering, the word “roxo” means “purple” in Portuguese).
Roxo Agency is not in any way affiliated with “Roxo Media House.”

Our history
Since 2011, Roxo has been a dynamic workplace at TCU, made up of polished agency professionals who take pride in producing impeccable client work. It was founded through a corporate partnership with BNSF and the BNSF Foundation and started with only 12 students. Today, Roxo has 31 student agency members who are continually growing their talents and serving their clients every day.
-
Our Culture
Roxo Agency is committed to delivering exceptional public relations and advertising services to our clients within a culture of respect and professionalism. All Roxstars are valued and appreciated. We encourage the free flow of ideas and perspectives, knowing that this is very much in the best interests of our clients. Giving each Roxstar a sense of welcome and belonging brings out the best in them, and in turn generates the best work for our clients.

Mental health
In light of the past years, we know that mental health has been negatively impacted by many people, including young adults and students. That's why we are raising awareness on the importance of mental health and where to turn to when one needs help. To help us in our goals, we partnered with The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation, a local non-profit that funds depression research, creates awareness through education, works to erase the stigma of mental health, and provides hope to those who are struggling in silence.
